LAUGHTER THERAPIST

In general, laughter therapist role is to help peoples to add a smile in their daily lives.
“Laughter therapist is a specific type of therapy in which a trained person uses laughs techniques to relieve both psychological and physical pain” (Thibodeaux, n.d).

Laughter Therapist
To become a laughter therapist, we should have a licensed therapist of which it consists of understanding of the advantages and drawbacks of the therapy. Based on the philosophy, giggles, chuckles and belly laughs can help in reducing stress, boost the body’s immune system, reducing the signs of aging, be a positive influence on a person’s well being and strengthen morale.

There are some laughter therapist such as Dr. Steven Wilson, Mike Harding and Jim Bowen.

I am wondering how exactly this job works. My research tells about it. "We don't use jokes, we don't use comedy," Wilson reports. "You're really going inside yourself to connect with the joyful, zestful, exuberant laughter we all had as babies. We not only show people laughter exercises that allow people to lighten up and release that laughter, but we teach how to prevent hardening of the attitudes." (Steven, n.d).

This job opportunity is so plentiful for human services professionals and it's certainly nothing to laugh at. Dealing with alternative medicine, life care planning or public health, are out there if we are willing to hone our academic skills and earn a degree. I am really sure there is a big calling for laughter therapist. Now, you can dream in getting high-paid if interested in this job!
